Puerto Iguazú eating is dominated by the tourist economy but the town centre has good value options. The Saborarte restaurant (Av. Cordoba; the finest mid-range Puerto Iguazú dinner; the Patagonian trout and the Argentine Malbec), the El Quincho del Tío Querido (the most celebrated Puerto Iguazú parrilla; the Argentine asado; US$15–30 pp), and the street empanadas (the food stalls near the bus terminal; US$1.50–3 each) are the three most recommended Puerto Iguazú eating addresses. Inside the park: the La Selva restaurant at the Park Visitor Centre (the most convenient lunch inside the Argentine park; the Argentine buffet; US$15–25 pp) avoids the need to exit the park for lunch.
