Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon is best at sunrise (varies by season). The floating icebergs turn pink and gold in the first 20 minutes of light — arrive before dawn.
Höfn langoustine (Icelandic lobster) costs 30–40% less in Höfn than in Reykjavik. Pakkhus restaurant serves the finest version. Book ahead in summer.
