The Rubenshuis (Rubens’ House; 9.50 €; Tue–Sun 10am–5pm; Rubens’ house and studio from 1610 to 1640; the finest artist’s house museum in Belgium; the Baroque garden) and the KMSKA (Royal Museum of Fine Arts; the finest Flemish art collection in Belgium; recently reopened after major restoration in 2022; 20 €) are the two finest Rubens experiences in Antwerp outside the Cathedral.

Antwerpen-Centraal’s neo-baroque dome and four-level platforms (completed 1905) is the finest train station in Europe. Arrive by rail from Brussels (35 min) specifically to enter it.
DIVA Museum (Suikerrui 17; €12; Tue–Sun) covers Antwerp’s 500-year diamond trade. Hoveniersstraat diamond district (weekday daytimes) is free to walk through.
